Voiles d’Antibes

Since 1996, Les Voiles d'Antibes, organized every year around the first week of June, marks the opening of the Mediterranean circuit for Classic Yachts, where adventure and luxury come together in a sporting and friendly tradition.

Every year, Les Voiles d’Antibes welcomes a selection of the finest Vintage Yachts (built before 1950), Classic Yachts (built before 1976) and Spirit of Tradition Yachts (as well as the Tofinous 9.5), which have shaped since the end of the XIXth century, the great history of International Yachting and its values of fair play, solidarity and respect. For most of the participants, this prestigious event represents the first major meeting of the Mediterranean season.

Rolex Giraglia

The Rolex Giraglia, the super classic which, after the 2021 edition in Italian waters, returns to its original format, starts on the night of Friday, June 10 with the Sanremo – Saint-Tropez; then on June 12, 13th and 14th coastal races off Saint-Tropez and then the start of the offshore on Wednesday, June 15 round the classic 243 mile triangle Saint Tropez – Giraglia – Genova.

The Rolex Giraglia Cup is truly a classic that brings together a hundred boats of different gauges and professional and non-professional sailors from all over the world.

Rolex Middle Sea Race

The Rolex Middle Sea Race course is approximately 606 nautical miles long and is sailed anti-clockwise, starting from Grand Harbour, Valletta, Malta. 

The race starts in Malta's spectacular Grand Harbour. A series of starts which may be watched from any of Valletta's fortifications create a sight worth waiting for.  

The Rolex Middle Sea Race was created as the result of sporting rivalry between two British yachtsmen residing in Malta, Alan Green and Jimmy White, and two Maltese sailors, Paul and John Ripard, both members of the Royal Malta Yacht Club.

Rolex Sydney Hobart

Over the past 76 years, the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race has become an icon of Australia's summer sport. The Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race and Cruising Yacht Club of Australia have had a marked influence on international ocean yacht racing. The 628 nautical mile course is often described as the most gruelling long ocean race in the world, a challenge to everyone who takes part. 
 

From the spectacular start in Sydney Harbour, the fleet sails out into the Tasman Sea, down the south-east coast of mainland Australia, across Bass Strait, then down the east coast of Tasmania.  At Tasman Island the fleet turns right into Storm Bay for the final sail up the Derwent River to the historic port city of Hobart.The final day at sea is exciting with crews fighting to beat their rivals but also looking forward to the traditional Hobart welcome, and having a drink to relax and celebrate their experience.

The America’s Cup, the pinnacle of yachting, was first contested in 1851 making it the oldest trophy in international sport. The trophy’s roots date back to when a syndicate of businessmen from New York sailed the schooner America across the Atlantic Ocean for the World’s Fair in England. The schooner won a race around the Isle of Wight against a fleet of British yachts to claim the £100 Cup.

On March 29th, 2022, America’s Cup Defender Emirates Team New Zealand and The Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron announced the 37th America's Cup would be going to Barcelona. A mixture of history and modernity, Barcelona is one of the most iconic and attractive cities in the world and will become the first venue in the world to host both an Olympic Games and an America’s Cup event.
