You will be discovering the Amazon River and the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve on a series of exhilarating excursions. You will start your excursions by heading to the lower deck and boarding one of four auxiliary boats. These aluminum skiffs are outfitted with low-emission engines and ergonomic seats. The maximum group size for excursions is eight passengers, and an English-speaking naturalist guide will lead each small group.

As one of Peru’s most renowned chefs, Schiaffino started by working with anthropologists and environmental scientists to understand the local flavors and culinary traditions of the Amazon. Chef Schiaffino created a menu of rainforest-to-table gastronomy using 70% locally sourced ingredients and focused on sustainable produce.

Taking things a step further, Schiaffino elevated Peruvian cuisine into a multi-sensory experience with dishes such as scallops with wild almonds and umari fruit, plantain and yucca gnocchi, and hearts of palm soufflé.
